In one-fell swoop, UClass packed its bags, drove cross country, stepped foot in San Francisco and embarked on the Hub Ventures journey. Last week, the team relocated to the Bay Area, a region that is bursting at the seams with innovation. UClass is looking to build off of its success in recent months and expects to achieve significant developmental milestones during our time in the spring co-hort.
Hub Ventures is a mission-aligned accelerator that focuses on companies that want to change the world. We are working out of a co-working space called The Hub alongside five other promising early-stage start-ups. These companies range from a crowd-funding platform for off-grid solar projects to a telehealth product that uses sound technology to provide heart rate analytics. The companies in the co-hort are SunFunder, Arrive, Eko Devices, Share Practice and an agriculture tech company that has yet to be named; each of them are doing transformative work in its respective industry, and we’re glad to be rubbing shoulders with world-changing innovators.
UClass is excited to be here, beginning a new phase in the journey to connect classrooms around the world.
