UClass is completely free for teachers to sign up and demo individually; however, its real power comes from subscribing with a large network. The platform encourages districts to crowdsource and collaborate materials, which means that its value grows exponentially with each additional participant. Uploaded resources become more useful when more teachers can access and build off of them.

Joining UClass as either a district or organization is subscription-based and calculated from a variable price amount per teacher per year. How UClass is the Cake to Google Drive’s Frosting

Compared to Google Drive, what makes UClass different?

While both fundamentally function as file management platforms, UClass.io is geared to serve K-12 educators, establishing district-wide resource-sharing networks. Here are a few key points of difference that set us apart and confirm that, together, we make the sweetest pairing in EdTech:

Tag-optimized search: Users “tag” files with keywords and standards so that locating relevant files is quick and effortless. Unlike in Google Drive, UClass.io tags and advanced search options allow users to pin-point files by category. Users can narrow search results by source, grade level, and subject or openly sift through categorized lesson plans, formative assessments, and other types of files.

Administrator surveyance: The UClass.io platform augments teacher-administrator communication with administrative folders.
