UClass is doing a TEDx Talk!

Zak and Leah have had the honor of being asked to deliver a “TED talk” on September 29th at the Claremont Colleges in California to shed light on their UClass mission. We are all incredibly excited as we are all avid TEDees and can’t wait to be in a room full of great thinkers, idealists, and world-changers.

For those of you who don’t know, TED is a “nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Started as a four-day conference in California 25 years ago, TED has grown to support those world-changing ideas with multiple initiatives. The annual TED Conference invites the world’s leading thinkers and doers to speak for 18 minutes. Their talks are then made available, free, at TED.com“. TED speakers have included Bill Clinton, Julian Assange, Bill Gates, Al Gore, Jane Goodall, Malcolm Gladwell, Sir Richard Branson, Richard Dawkins, Isabel Allende and JJ Abrams.

Also, we’ve had the honor of being featured on the EduTecher website after meeting the Founder and President, Adam Bellow. EduTecher is a cost-free and ad-free way for educators and schools to efficiently keep track of the many educational web tools  at their disposal while providing concise information on how these tools can be used in their classrooms.

It was a pleasure meeting Adam who began his career in education as an Assistant English Teacher, went on to become a Technology Training Specialist for a school district on Long Island, received the honor of being named the Outstanding Young Educator of the Year by ISTE in 2011, and founded EduClipper.

Thank you, Adam, for your exposure and we hope to work with you in the future!
